Looking for fun things to make at home? Learn to cook authentic, handmade tamales in this online class!
Tamales are filled and hand-wrapped gifts of masa deliciousness - steamed to perfection and topped with salsa. Discover what makes these Mexican delicacies so special as you fill and (surprisingly easily!) wrap your own handheld bites of wonder.
The Good Food Project's chefs will show you just how fun and easy making tamales by hand can be. Your chef/teacher will guide you through softening the corn husks, prepping your fillings, preparing your masa; and forming and filling and wrapping your tamales. As you put them on the stove to steam, you'll make a fresh salsa to enjoy with your warm tamales.
At the end of class, you'll have fresh salsa and a dozen steamed to perfection tamales to enjoy!
